A new bird health check is one of the most valuable appointments a bird owner can schedule. Many birds instinctively hide signs of illness, so they can appear healthy even when they have a significant medical condition. A health check helps identify problems early, ensures your bird gets the best start in its new home, and gives you confidence that you're providing the right care.
03.Annual Bird Health Check (IN CLINIC)
A yearly examination allows us to detect illness before obvious signs develop, improving the chances of successful treatment. Monitor weight and body condition, as even small weight changes can be an early indicator of disease. Perform a thorough physical examination, including the eyes, ears, beak, mouth, feathers, skin, feet, nails, wings and body condition.
04.Consultation (HOME VISIT)
Home visits ensures less transport stress, easier observation of the bird's normal environment, more accurate husbandry recommendations. Home visits are offered on a case by case basis depending on your birds needs and circumstances.
05.Telehealth Consultation
Please note telehealth appointments cannot replace physical examinations, perform hands-on emergency treatments, or reliably prescribe new restricted medications without a prior in-person relationship. If you have a sick bird, we recommend presenting in clinic or requesting a home visit.
