As an avian-focused clinic, we do not routinely recommend wing clipping and encourage owners to allow their birds to maintain normal flight whenever possible. Wing clipping should only be considered when there is a clear welfare or safety reason to do so.

* Home visits are offered on a case-by-case basis, depending on your bird’s individual needs. Some patients may need to be seen in-clinic, particularly when procedures requiring anaesthesia, specialised equipment or hospital facilities are necessary.

Telehealth

30-minute Telehealth Consultation — $100

Telehealth consultations are designed to complement, rather than replace, in-person veterinary care. As your bird cannot be physically examined during a telehealth consultation, we are unable to provide a confirmed diagnosis or prescribe medications based solely on a telehealth consultation.
Where appropriate, we may recommend an in-person consultation following a telehealth appointment to allow your bird to receive a complete physical examination and any necessary diagnostic testing.
